Missionaries
of Divine Revelation

Established in the diocese of Rome on 11 February 2001, the Missionaries of Divine Revelation are spiritually born from the “grotto of the Virgin of Revelation at Tre Fontane”, Rome. They are devoted to the apostolic life for the new evangelisation so that the beauty of the evangelism can meet as many people as possible. They are concerned with transmitting and disseminating knowledge of the history and life of the Church, spreading love for the Gospel and the truths of faith by example, word and deed.

Since 2004, the year of its permanent presence in the Basilica of St. John Lateran, Catechesis with Art was born, proposing a union, as old as it is new, between the language of art and that of faith. The Art and Faith itineraries aim to enhance the historical, artistic and religious heritage that the city of Rome offers to the whole world.

In fact, the eternal city, cradle of the memory of the Apostles, Martyrs and Saints, as well as host to the Pope, offers itself, yesterday as today, to rediscover the Christian roots of history and faith.

In 2007, they were called to provide this evangelising service in St Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican, and shortly afterwards, in 2009, to provide the same service in the Vatican Museums. In 2021, they were called by the Diocese of Rome to lead Art and Faith itineraries inside the Lateran Palace with the support of authorised guides trained to convey the message of faith through art.
